Organizations across Central Wyoming will have an opportunity to strengthen their grant writing skills this summer as Grant Writing USA hosts a two-day Grant Writing Workshop in Casper on July 7-8, 2026.
Hosted by the Casper Police Department, the workshop will take place at the Casper Public Safety Training Facility, located at 100 West B Street in Casper.
Designed for both beginning and experienced grant writers, the training is open to professionals from nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, tribal entities, and local, county, and state government agencies. Participants do not need to work in the same field as the host organization to attend.
The workshop will focus on helping attendees identify funding opportunities, develop compelling grant proposals, and improve their overall grant seeking strategies. Participants will receive hands-on instruction, a comprehensive workbook, and lifetime access to Grant Writing USA's Alumni Resource Center, which includes sample grant proposals, funding resources, and additional training materials.
The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, with a lunch break from noon to 1:20 p.m.
Tuition is $525 and includes all course materials and resources. Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits and university credit options are also available.
For organizations looking to expand programs, fund community initiatives, support workforce development, or secure resources for future growth, this workshop offers valuable tools and practical guidance for navigating today's competitive grant environment.
