Town of Bar Nunn Independence Day Celebration

The Town of Bar Nunn is pleased to announce its plans for a community-wide Independence Day celebration in honor of America's 250th Anniversary.

This milestone marks a rare and meaningful moment in our nation's history. In recognition of this occasion, the Town of Bar Nunn is joining neighboring communities in celebrating in a way that reflects both local pride and a shared commitment to honoring 250 years of American independence. This collaborative spirit helps create a unified and memorable experience across the region.

Bar Nunn's celebration will feature a full day of activities designed to be welcoming, engaging, and family-friendly for all ages. The day will begin with a parade at 11:00 a.m. starting at McMurry Boulevard traveling south on Antelope Drive, followed by a flag raising ceremony at Town Hall. Festivities will continue at Antelope Park from approximately 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., including local vendors, food trucks, and activities geared toward families and children. The evening will conclude with a community fireworks display near Westwinds beginning at 10:00 p.m.

The Town is committed to fostering an environment that emphasizes community connection, safety, and family participation. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the day responsibly and contribute to a positive atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
