Step beyond the veil for one night. The Midnight Court opens as a fundraising masquerade for High Plains Renaissance Faire, August 7–8, 2027.
The evening is framed as The Trial of the Soul. Baron Samedi convenes the Court and hosts the night. Three Gatekeepers — Meng Po, Anubis, and St. Peter -offer short orations at the threshold between the living and the dead. Between the acts, Samedi leads live auction segments for items supporting the Faire. After the verdict: dancing, portraits at the Midnight Throne, and time to wander the Lodge.
What to wear:
Masks encouraged. Come dressed in elegant attire, tattered formal wear, otherworldly court garb, fantasy costume, or classic black tie. This is a masquerade, not a costume contest, so come as you are and embrace the evening in your own style. Each admission includes a complimentary mask, but we encourage you to bring your own and choose one that complements your attire and brings your vision to life.

• Limited bar with themed cocktails and beer (one complimentary drink ticket with each admission)
