The Midnight Court opens as a fundraising masquerade for High Plains Renaissance Faire\, August 7 8\, 2027.\n\n \n\nThe evening is framed as The Trial of the Soul. Baron Samedi convenes the Court and hosts the night. Three Gatekeepers   Meng Po\, Anubis\, and St. Peter -offer short orations at the threshold between the living and the dead. Between the acts\, Samedi leads live auction segments for items supporting the Faire. After the verdict: dancing\, portraits at the Midnight Throne\, and time to wander the Lodge.\n\n \n\nWhat to wear:\n\n \n\nMasks encouraged. Come dressed in elegant attire\, tattered formal wear\, otherworldly court garb\, fantasy costume\, or classic black tie. This is a masquerade\, not a costume contest\, so come as you are and embrace the evening in your own style.
