One of the ways Wyoming Food for Thought Project sustains itself is through management of the year-round Food for Thought Markets and its sales at these events, with our specialty item being our homegrown and canned salsas!
That's why we are scheduling another Salsa Making Workshop at our Program Center on March 7th and 8th!
There is a lot of prep work that has to take place before we make our salsas, so we are inviting volunteers to come in on Wednesday, March 7th between 10am-5pm to help with chopping and processing the produce we grew from our Community Gardens.
If you cannot make it down to help on the 7th, then consider joining us on Thursday, March 8th, from 9am-3pm to actually make and can our salsa!
Both of these workshop days are offered based on volunteer availability, so you are welcome to commit to whatever time frame you choose. Simply swing by our Program Center at 900 Saint John St. and we'll put you to work!
This Salsa Making Workshop is free and open to the public, but donations are greatly appreciated. We will also have salsa available for purchase.
