Folksinger and historian Hank Cramer will present songs and stories describing the westward migrations of homesteaders\, gold-seekers\, ranchers\, and railroad builders. He'll be accompanied on cello and banjo by his long-time performance partners\, Michelle Cameron and banjo Eddie.\n\n\n\nHank is a fulltime traveling folksinger with a degree in history from the University of Arizona. He has performed 19th century music at many historic sites along the Oregon and California Trails over the last twenty years. He has released 22 music CDs\, and won a number of humanities awards. Michelle Cameron holds a PhD from the University of Colorado\, has recorded ten albums with Hank\, and has served as first-chair cellist for the Mid-Columbia Symphony. Banjo Eddie has been a bright light on the Denver and Philadelphia folk music scenes for many years.
