After hearing the basics of shop safety and signing a liability waiver\, participants will use a plasma cutter and grinding tools\, apply techniques for shaping their flower petals\, learn some standard blacksmithing while hammering metal that will become a flower stem and weld the pieces together to complete a metal flower. The class is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday\, February 17 & 18 and the cost is $115 for ART 321 members\; $130 for non-members plus a supply fee of $20 for each student.
