DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, August 28\, 2019 at 6:30 AM   8:30 AM\n\n\n\nTickets\n\nwww.bgccw.org\n\n\n\nThe 21st Annual Awards & Recognition to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs is scheduled for Wednesday\, August 28\, 2019 at the Casper Events Center. A breakfast buffet will be served at 6:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 7 a.m. There is no cost for tickets and/or table reservations. Instead all ticket holders will be expected to make a contribution to support the thousands of youth impacted by the Club. \n\n\n\nEach year the Club chooses a special honoree who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of the community and state. The 2019 honorees are Phil and Jody Schmidt who have made a significant impact on business and the community despite personal hardships and tragedy.\n\n\n\nThe featured guest speaker is decorated military hero Col. Oliver North. The recipient of the Mick & Susie McMurry Cowboy Code Try Award will be announced\, along with the 2019-20 Central Wyoming Youth of the Year and Ruth R. Ellbogen Education Award.\n\n\n\nThe Breakfast is the culmination of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming's Annual Giving Campaign\; Building Connections. The Building Connections Campaign brings the strategic goals of the Club together into three categories to address the crucial areas of need to build a sustainable future for the Club. Contributions in this campaign will help the Club reach a $1.7 million\, two year  fundraising goal to support its $3.7 million budget and serve thousands of youth.
